International Master’s class at Politecnico di Milano, School of Design: Lecture
Updated: Apr 26
It was my pleasure to present to the class studying the course INNOVATION STUDIO, PRODUCT SERVICE SYSTEM DESIGN (PSSD), International Master’s at Politecnico di Milano, School of Design.
I presented a story called 'designing for a connected world' and of course showed a variety of the interactive product experiences my colleagues and I at Novalia have created over the years.
I received the following wonderful feedback:
"Dear Kate, student’s loved your contribution: your stimuli and unique point of view on the relationship between technology, design, humans and nature definitely enriched the class with a great dose of inspiration. Thank you!" Fabio Di Liberto
A bit more about the course:
The class this year counts over 100 students from 20 countries.
This is the link to our course: https://www.pssd.polimi.it/
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the complexity of a product-service system project, through the exploration and understanding of the process leading from the "concept" to the actual product. Innovation Studio guides students in the development of a project idea in the form of a pre-series of products, which involves consideration of the entire production chain, related services and digital technologies, communication and interaction aspects, social and market factors.
